Important tips for breast cancer prevention.

Follow a healthy lifestyle:

Obesity and being overweight can increase the risk of breast cancer, especially after menopause. Maintaining a healthy weight through exercise and eating healthy can reduce this risk. It is recommended to exercise for at least 150 minutes per week of moderate activity such as brisk walking, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity such as jogging.

Follow a healthy diet

Eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and avoiding processed foods rich in saturated fats and added sugars, may help reduce the risk of infection.

Reduce alcohol intake and refrain from smoking
– Alcohol consumption is a risk factor for breast cancer. It is recommended to limit alcohol intake to less than one drink per day or avoid it completely to reduce the risk, and smoking is a factor that can increase the risk of many types of cancer, including breast cancer. Quitting smoking can reduce this risk.

Regular screening and early detection
– Regular breast examinations and screenings such as mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, increasing the chances of successful treatment. Women with a family history of breast cancer should start screening at an early age and on a regular basis.

Breastfeeding
– Breastfeeding may provide some protection against breast cancer. The longer you breastfeed, the lower your risk.

Manage stress and psychological pressure
– Maintaining good mental health and avoiding excessive stress can play a role in promoting overall health and reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

Consult your doctor regularly
– Women who have high risk factors, such as a strong family history of breast cancer or the presence of genetic mutations (such as BRCA1 or BRCA2), may need special medical advice to assess their risk and develop an appropriate prevention plan.
