Skin and hair care tips as you age

1. Moisturize regularly:
As you age, your skin’s ability to retain moisture decreases, leading to dryness and fine lines. Use moisturizers rich in ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and natural oils to help retain moisture.
Make sure to moisturize your skin morning and evening, especially after washing your face.
2. Use sunscreen daily:
Protecting yourself from the sun’s rays is one of the most important steps to maintaining youthful skin. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 at least) and use it daily, even on cloudy days. Exposure to the sun contributes to the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots.
3. Use products that contain antioxidants:
Antioxidants such as vitamins C and E work to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Looking for products that contain antioxidants enhances skin radiance and reduces signs of aging.
4. Use products that contain retinol:
Retinol or vitamin A derivatives are effective ingredients in fighting wrinkles and stimulating collagen production. Regular use of retinol can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

5. Gently exfoliate:
As we age, cell turnover slows down, causing dead skin cells to build up and make skin look dull. Use a gentle exfoliant once or twice a week to slough off dead cells and promote skin renewal.
