Important information about the Paleo diet

The Paleo Diet is inspired by the way the ancient Egyptians ate in the Paleolithic era, and is based on natural, unprocessed foods. The basic idea is to eat food that was available to ancient humans before the development of agriculture and modern technology. This diet is mainly based on whole and fresh foods.
Foods allowed in the Paleo diet:

Fish and seafood: especially types rich in omega-3 such as salmon and mackerel.
Vegetables: such as broccoli, spinach, and carrots.
Fruits: such as berries, apples, and bananas.
Nuts and seeds: such as almonds, walnuts, and chia seeds.
Eggs.
Natural oils: such as olive oil and coconut oil.
Foods to avoid:
Grains: such as wheat, rice, barley, and oats.
Legumes: such as beans, lentils, and beans.
Dairy products: dairy and cheese.
Added sugar: processed sugars and sweets.
Processed and packaged foods.
