100 Days of Health Initiative Launched

The Ministry of Health and Population has defined the action plan for the 100 Days of Health initiative, which includes providing the services of 11 presidential initiatives to citizens, through health units, hospitals, medical convoy cars, mobile teams, divided into fixed teams, mobile teams and convoy cars, to provide services from 9 am to 9 pm.

These include:
• The first thousand days initiative in human life includes the period of pregnancy and the first two years of the child’s life and targets the next woman to become pregnant, pregnant and newborns up to the age of two years.
• Screening, treatment and detection of chronic diseases such as pressure, diabetes, heart and kidney disease, targeting people over the age of 40 years.

• Early detection and treatment of hard work and hearing loss, targeting newborns.
• Providing medical service to pregnant women up to 28 days after birth and examining diseases transmitted from mother to fetus.
• Early detection of breast diseases and chronic diseases for girls and women.
• Early detection and treatment of liver diseases.
• Detection and treatment of Virus C for middle school students.
• Caring for the elderly over 65 years and providing psychological, health and nutritional support.

• Examination of those about to marry and the work of detection and analysis on infectious and genetic diseases.
• Early detection of lung, prostate, cervical and colon tumors for those over 18 years old.
• Conducting urgent surgeries for citizens free of charge at the expense of the state or health insurance.
