Ways to protect your skin from the sun

1. Use sunscreen
Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Apply sunscreen to all exposed parts of your body 15-30 minutes before going outside.
Reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating.

2. Wear protective clothing
Wear long-sleeved clothing and long pants to protect your skin.
Choose clothing made of tight-weave fabrics for better protection.
Clothing designed with ultraviolet protection (UPF) provides additional protection.

3. Wear hats
Choose a hat with a wide brim to cover your face, neck, and ears.
Dark-colored hats with thick fabrics block more UV rays.

4. Use sunglasses
Choose sunglasses with 100% UV protection.
Glasses that cover your eyes completely and block out the rays from the sides are best.

5. Stay in the shade
Try to avoid direct sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when UV rays are at their peak.
Use umbrellas, sit under trees, or use sun umbrellas.
6. Avoid tanning beds
Devices that use ultraviolet (UV) rays to create a tan can damage the skin and increase the risk of skin cancer.
7. Moisturize regularly
After sun exposure, moisturize your skin well with a moisturizer that is appropriate for your skin type. This helps maintain the skin barrier and reduces dryness
