Daily Skin Care Routine

Skin care requires following a daily routine that aims to maintain its health and radiance. The daily routine can be divided into simple steps based on cleansing, moisturizing, and protecting the skin from external factors.

Here is the ideal skin care routine, which can be modified according to skin type:

Cleansing (twice a day: morning and evening):
Cleansing the skin is the basic step to remove dirt, impurities, and excess oils that accumulate during the day or while sleeping.
– In the morning, use a gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type to remove dirt and dead skin cells that may have accumulated during the night.
– In the evening, remove makeup or dirt accumulated during the day using a cleanser or makeup remover, then wash the face with the cleanser again.

Using toner:
After cleansing, you can use a toner suitable for your skin type to help close the pores and restore the skin’s balance. The toner removes any remaining dirt or makeup and helps improve the appearance of pores.

Moisturizing:
Moisturizing the skin is essential to maintaining its natural moisture balance, even if your skin is oily.
– Morning: Use a light moisturizer with SPF to nourish and protect your skin from harmful sun rays.

Evening: Use a thicker moisturizer or a night cream that deeply nourishes your skin while you sleep and helps regenerate skin cells.

Sun protection (morning only)
Protecting your skin from the sun is one of the most important steps in your daily routine, as it protects your skin from damage caused by ultraviolet rays that lead to wrinkles, dark spots, and skin damage.
– Use a sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) even if you are at home or on cloudy days, as ultraviolet rays can penetrate glass.

Eye care:
The area around your eyes is sensitive and requires special care. Use a moisturizing eye cream that contains ingredients that help reduce puffiness or dark circles.
Morning: Use a light eye cream to moisturize the area and give it a brighter appearance.
Evening: Use a more concentrated cream with nourishing ingredients such as retinol or vitamin C to reduce wrinkles.

Exfoliation (once to twice a week)
Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and promotes cell renewal. Use a gentle exfoliant on your skin regularly.

Choose an exfoliant that contains acids such as salicylic or glycolic acid to purify pores.

Use a serum (optional):
Serums contain a high concentration of active ingredients that target specific skin concerns such as wrinkles, dark spots, or dryness.

In the morning, use a serum that contains vitamin C to protect the skin from environmental damage and enhance its radiance, but in the evening, it is preferable to choose a serum that contains retinol or hyaluronic acid to help renew the skin and deeply moisturize it.
